1. Agreement to Terms

By engaging Sands Pool Care for pool cleaning, maintenance, or repair services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. These terms apply to all residential pool services provided by Sands Pool Care in Lexington, SC and the surrounding Midlands area.

2. Services

Sands Pool Care provides residential pool services including weekly maintenance, green-to-clean treatments, pool opening and closing, water testing and chemical balancing, and equipment repair. The specific scope of work for your pool will be agreed upon before service begins. Any additional work beyond the agreed scope will be discussed and approved by you before we proceed.

3. Scheduling & Access

Recurring maintenance services are scheduled on a weekly basis. Your assigned service day may be adjusted due to weather, holidays, or scheduling needs, and we will communicate any changes in advance when possible.

You are responsible for providing safe, unobstructed access to your pool and equipment. This includes ensuring gates are unlocked or access codes are provided, pets are secured, and the pool area is reasonably clear. If we are unable to access your pool on a scheduled visit, the visit will count as a completed service unless you notify us at least 24 hours in advance.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

We request at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling of individual service visits. For recurring maintenance plans, we require 30 days' written notice to cancel your service agreement.

Sands Pool Care reserves the right to cancel or modify service agreements with 30 days' notice if circumstances require.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon receipt of invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept major credit cards, checks, and electronic payments. Late payments may be subject to a service hold until the balance is resolved. Returned checks or declined payments may incur additional fees.

6. Crystal-Clear Guarantee

All recurring maintenance services are backed by our Crystal-Clear Guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with the condition of your pool after a scheduled maintenance visit, contact us within 48 hours and we will return to address the issue at no additional cost. This guarantee applies to the scope of work included in your maintenance plan and does not cover pre-existing conditions, equipment failures, or issues caused by factors outside our control (e.g., severe weather, third-party interference).

7. Liability Limitations

Sands Pool Care carries full liability insurance. However, our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

We are not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, equipment at end of life, manufacturer defects, improper prior installation by others, acts of nature, or unauthorized modifications to pool equipment. We will always communicate any issues we discover during service visits.

8. Property & Safety

Our technicians will treat your property with care and respect. We ask that you inform us of any known hazards, underground utilities, or special conditions on your property. You are responsible for maintaining safe conditions around the pool area for our service technicians.

9. SMS & Text Messaging Terms

By opting in to receive SMS messages from Sands Pool Care, you agree to the following terms:

  • You consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Sands Pool Care related to appointment confirmations, service updates, scheduling changes, and responses to your inquiries.
  • Message frequency varies. You may receive up to 10 messages per month depending on your service activity.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a one-time confirmation of your opt-out.

  • Your consent to receive SMS messages is not required as a condition of purchasing any services.
  • We do not sell, rent, share, or trade your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with any third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Lexington County, South Carolina.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
